Craigard Investments purchase 50,000 sq ft unit in Leamington Spa
A key industrial building in Leamington Spa has been sold in a £3.7 million deal.
Access Point, on Tachbrook Park, has been bought by Mucklow Plc from property company Craigard Investments.
And the 50,000 sq ft unit, which used to be the home of Johnson Controls, has also been let to Canute Haulage, one of the largest independently owned haulage firms.
The company, which operates 500 vehicles from ten bases across the UK, has moved from Stratford and agreed a ten-year-lease at £252,000 rent per annum.
Leamington based agents Evans Hardy Bromwich negotiated the deal for Southampton based Craigard, which was also represented by Molyneux Rose.
Paul Foster, managing director of Craigard, said: “The unit was an attractive investment to the purchasers and, given the current status of the commercial property market in the UK, the sale of this property will benefit both parties.”
“Access Point is a great development, with good transport links to the motorway network and will suit Canute perfectly.”
