£1 million to be invested in Horsham office space

Craigard Investments, owners of Afon (formerly Enterprise House) in Worthing Road, has confirmed nearly £1 million will be invested to modernise the office building.

Currently leased by BT, Southampton–based property company Craigard will refurbish the 26,000 square foot building once the lease has expired in March 2009. Phase One of the development will see £500,000 invested in a general refurbishment. Phase Two is programmed for later in the year, dependent on potential tenant’s needs and requirements and will include air conditioning.

The site comprises four floors and approximately 100 parking spaces and was purchased by Craigard in a Joint Venture with Patton Group who are a family–owned construction and development company based in Northern Ireland, in February 2008 with a view to letting and improving the facilities when the lease ends.

Managing Partner of Craigard, Paul Foster said: “Our intention was to always invest in the property and we are pleased to announce plans to do so when it becomes vacant in March. We will be delighted to offer modern, spacious, A–grade facilities and look forward to working with the local business community to offer the facilities at competitive rates and on flexible terms”.

Crickmays in Horsham, NB Real Estate in London and Marshall Clark in Worthing are the joint letting agents.
