Triple lettings start a strong year for Southampton-based Craigard
Craigard Investments LLP has started the year with three key lettings in the local area, set to bring more jobs and increased prosperity to the South Hampshire region.
Part of the first floor at Hampshire House, located on the High Street in the heart of Southampton has been let to Hayhursts Chartered Accountants on a five year contract. The letting will have a break option after three years, with the total deal worth £16,500 pa. Goadsbys and Keygrove represented Craigard.
Towards Portsmouth, Unit 16 at the IO Centre in Segensworth has been let to The Wheel Specialist, a wheel refurbishment company that is expanding from the Midlands. The Centre has been let on a five year lease, in a deal worth £31,223 pa in rental income. Lambert Smith Hampton acted for Craigard.
To round off, part of the first floor at the Ailsa Building in Turnberry House on Solent Business Park has already been snapped up since its purchase in July 2007. Recruitment company Potensis will be taking the 1,775 sq ft lease at a rental income of £29,287.50 pa. There still remains 1,450 sq ft of vacant space on the first floor and 3,200 sq ft on the ground floor, both available to let. Hughes Ellard and Atis Real are joint letting agents.
“We have had a brilliant start to the year,” commented Managing Partner, Paul Foster. “Three lettings over the Christmas period is an indication that occupier demand for commercial property in Hampshire is holding firm. I hope that this is set to continue – indeed we have good levels of interest in our remaining available space and forthcoming projects.”
