Craigard Starts the New Year with Purchase in Cambridge
2020 has already started with a bang for Craigard with the successful purchase of a 50,000 sq. ft warehouse on a 2.75 acre site in Huntingdon.
At a cost of £2.3million, the site is located in an already established prime commercial location with fantastic transport links. For this development, Craigard’s intentions are to demolish the building and rebuild it into two units, one of 45,000 sq. ft and one 15,000 sq. ft.
“There aren’t many new build warehouses in that size range and location,” comments David Foster. “This presents a real opportunity for us to provide something very desirable in a location that many occupiers would love to be situated. Combined with the fact that the building is very old and not really fit for purpose, it’s easy to see why we snapped this up. We’re confident in providing a great return for the syndication supporting this, as we have a clear goal and proposition before we’ve even begun.”
