Craigard has let the entire top floor of its flagship Prism building to South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS).
The five year lease, with a break at three, sees SCAS leasing the whole of the 9,866 sq ft floor to use as a combination of training rooms and office facilities. The entire letting will be used as the main Southern training facility for SCAS, and has been fitted out with extensive facilities for students. The location on Solent Business Park is easily accessible for students from the nearby M27, with the competitive price of £16.00 per sq ft sealing the deal.
“We’re delighted that a big organisation such as SCAS has chosen Prism as its southern training HQ,” comments David Foster. “It’s great when other organisations see the offering that Prism brings to the table and we are quite proud to be able to say that the building is home to one of the best NHS training centres in the country. The fit-out it has undertaken is outstanding and will provide students with the best facilities to learn in, it has even recreated the inside of an ambulance in part of the suite and built an immersive classroom which recreates potential scenarios students may encounter on the job such as a fire.”
